Since 1995 Best has operated exclusively in Central & Eastern Europe while keeping in close touch with the marketing and PR professions in the US and the UK. We believe this gives our clients a competitive edge: ‘best practice’ from the heartland of PR combined with deep local knowledge and a feel for how things work in this region.

Most of our staff speak Czech or Slovak as their first language, with English as their second and, in some cases, a third and fourth tongue. Four of our staff speak English as their first language and have a background in US or UK public relations agencies.

We believe that up-to-date knowledge – both of public relations techniques and of the general business and political environment – is crucial to a ‘gold-standard’ consulting service, and to this end we invest 10 per cent of our annual income in training and Continuing Professional Development.

Our own reputation with the media is an absolute priority for all Best’s professionals, and we go to any lengths to provide them with a superlative service on our clients’ behalf.

We recognise that many (but not all) international clients prefer to place their C&EE marketing communications, corporate communications, advertising, events, design, on-line communications and public affairs with a single consultancy, and we have therefore trained and equipped our team to act, when required, as a full-service, one-stop-shop.
