Euan Edworthy
Chief Executive Officer
Euan was educated at Ampleforth College, UK, and graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff, in 1991 with a degree in Politics and History. He started his career at London-based PR company Good Relations in the property planning and development department. In 1993, he became a consultant for the Rowland Company in Hong Kong before moving to Prague in 1994 as an advisor to the Czech Republic government on foreign investment matters.
In 1995, he established Best Communications, now one of the Czech Republic’s leading public relations companies. In 2004, he initiated continental Europe’s first ever Speakers’ Corner in Prague and in 2007 established Speakers’ Corner Trust, an international charity, with former British MP Peter Bradley. He has also established the Czech Children of Courage Award and Prague’s Red Nose Day Campaign. Euan is married and lives in Prague.
Tereza Procházková
Managing Director
Tereza is Managing Director at Best Communications. She is responsible for public relations and PR strategies and community programmes of several international development companies operating on the Czech and Slovak market. Before joining Best Communications, Tereza worked as a PR manager for the Committee of the Regions, EU institution in Brussels, and at Prague City Hall she was leading the Department for EU Affairs. She has extensive experience from abroad, having also worked in the USA, UK, Israel and Singapore.
Tereza graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University in Prague and received a Masters of Advanced European Studies at the University of Basel in Switzerland.
Adrian Wheeler MA FCIPR
Senior Advisor
Adrian is a consultant to Best Communications specialising in stakeholder engagement and media training. He has 30 years’ experience in public relations and was chairman of GCI Europe until 2005.
Adrian is a non-executive director of Firefly Communications, the London Communications Agency and Gyroscope Communications; also chairman of the Professional Practices Committee of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Communications Panel at Cambridge University.
Klára Ježková
Account Manager
At Best Communications, Klára is in charge of clients working in entertainment, aviation and real estate. Before working in PR, Klára gained journalism experience as a junior reporter for Czech TV. Her PR career began as a PR and Marketing Specialist for the exhibition company Roofs Prague before joining Best Communications in 2010.
Klára studied journalism and media at Charles University in Prague as well as media studies at the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
Rose Beynon
International Account Coordinator
Rose is International Account Coordinator at Best Communications, working across and number of accounts championing PR best practice and new business across the agency. Before moving to The Czech Republic and joining Best, Rose worked at Fishburn Hedges, a London based communications agency specialising in corporate PR, reputation management and behaviour change. During her career she has worked on a range of private and public sector clients including the Department of Health, Barclaycard, Emirates, Ben & Jerry’s, HSBC and British Telecoms.
A firm believer that everyone is creative, Rose likes to challenge and be challenged to produce truly innovative and tangible communications strategy. From drug abuse awareness to corporate banking, Rose has relished working on every one of her clients. She only follows one simple rule – consume more media.
Barbora Dlabáčková
Account Manager
Prior to joining Best Communications Barbora worked as a journalist, which means she has an excellent understanding of the press and is a confident media handler.
Barbora is focused mainly on technology and industry clients, such as the global Czech-rooted IT security company AVG Technologies, or SAFINA, a Czech company which processes precious and non-ferrous metals. She has also been working on FMCG and real estate clients.
Barbora graduated with degrees in Journalism and Media Studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Aesthetics from the Faculty of Philosophy and Art, at Charles University in Prague. She also studied Media Communication at the Aegean University in Mytilini, Greece, as well as Modern Greek Language at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is fluent in English and German.
Petra Kubátová
Account Manager
Petra’s work at Best Communications is focused mainly on gastronomy, travel and aviation where she is responsible for the implementation of PR strategies for a range of clients such as, Starbucks, international coffee chain; CottoCrudo, modern Italian restaurant, bar and lounge at Four Seasons hotel; Lower Austria Provincial Tourist Office and NetJets Europe, leader in private aviation.
Before joining Best, Petra gained experience in PR and marketing at the company Casa Serena, a unique venue and brand. Here she was responsible for the organization and external communication of VIP events and prestigious golf tournaments including professional PGA European Senior Tour.
Petra graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of Management in Jindrichuv Hradec and has a Master’s degree in management. She speaks English and German.
