Czech INCAD Partners with Leading Multinational Search Technologies

Search solutions company INCAD becomes part of the world’s leading IT services company specializing in search and analytical applications

PRAGUE – June xx, 2015: INCAD, a Prague-based technology company that provides search services and products throughout the Central European market, announced that it has become a division of Search Technologies, the leading IT services firm specializing in the design and implementation of enterprise search and big data applications with a worldwide customer base of more than 600 companies, covering all sectors of industry and government.

The company will undergo a gradual rebranding as part of this acquisition into Search Technologies, which will also enable INCAD to expand and create new, high-skilled jobs in Prague. Building on INCAD’s existing search talent and current customers such as Skoda Auto, the National Library and O2 Czech Republic, Search Technologies will establish a European Technical Support Center in Prague. The company expects the recent growth of 15 – 20% per annum to continue.

“Things were different back in the nineties, when INCAD was founded in the Czech Republic – we implemented solutions for customers using a new class of technology at the time, called Enterprise Search,” said Pavel Kocourek, CEO, INCAD. “Today, the use of search engines is wide spread within businesses, government, and for individual consumers. A lot of work goes into making simple yet highly productive search applications, and in this field we have long experience and deep expertise.”

He added: “Joining forces with Search Technologies will enable us to bring added value to our established customer base in the Czech Republic, while also giving our search experts the opportunity to contribute on the many projects that Search Technologies is already managing throughout Europe and around the world.”

“With INCAD, we will significantly expand our customer base, operations, and technical capabilities throughout Europe, solidifying our place as the largest search solutions company in the world,” said Kamran Khan, CEO of Search Technologies. “Search Technologies has consistently grown over the past decade, and we now employ more than 150 experts in the implementation of search and analytics applications. The company has also been recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in America for the past 3 years by Fortune Magazine, and we want to continue in this direction.”
