Best Communications was set up in 1995 by Euan Edworthy, who came to the Czech Republic in 1995 to run an international PR campaign on behalf of the Czech Government.
Euan saw a business opportunity in bringing ‘best PR practice’ from the US and the UK to the embryonic Czech public relations sector. The agency grew rapidly and developed connections with affiliates in Poland, the Baltics, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania.
The agency’s clients are evenly divided between international corporations entering the C&EE market and ‘local’ enterprises seeking to enhance their reputations with key media and opinion-formers.
Best today is one of the largest PR agencies in the region with 22 staff, based in offices next to the Vltava River in central Prague, and annual fees of Euro 2 Million. Its services have expanded beyond mainstream PR to include event management, media planning and buying, design and print, online communications and social networking, community relations and public affairs.
Best Communications is an independent company. Its aim is to be the ‘gold standard’ for PR and marketing communications in Central & Eastern Europe.

The world’s largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, announced today that it has leased 19,600 square meters of modern industrial space in Bucharest, Romania, to Centrum Logistics, a European provider of third-party logistics services and a subsidiary of Groep H. Essers, a Belgium-based transport and logistics company.
